What is the Content Plan Generator?
A content plan is the list of everything your website should publish about a topic — and the order to publish it in. Building one by hand takes days of keyword research.
The Content Plan Generator builds it for you from one topic: the core keywords of the niche, long-tail variations, the real questions people ask, content angles and a ready article title for every keyword and angle. It runs in the background, so you can close the page and come back when it is done.
How to use the Content Plan Generator
- Type your topic (up to five, one per line) and choose the country and language of your readers.
- Pick the number of core keywords and the content type: evergreen (no years or places), seasonal, or local for one city or country.
- Choose what to make — long-tail, questions, angles, titles — and whether to add real Google searches.
- Click Generate the plan. If you asked to review, check the core keywords, edit or remove any, add your own and press Save and continue.
- Browse the results by tab, filter by cluster or source, then copy or download a tab or the whole plan as CSV.
Understanding your results
- Core keywords
- The main subjects of your niche, each with search intent, funnel stage, topic cluster and priority. Each one can become a pillar page.
- Long-tail
- Longer, more specific searches around each core keyword — easier to rank for and great for supporting posts.
- Questions
- What people ask about each core keyword — use them for FAQ sections, short answer posts and headings.
- Angles & titles
- Different ways to cover a keyword (guide, comparison, mistakes, case study…) and one ready title per keyword and angle.
- Source
- “AI” items were generated; “Google” items are real searches from Google autocomplete; “You” items are the ones you added.
- Cluster
- A group of related keywords. Publish a cluster together and link its posts to each other.
Troubleshooting
The plan says “Paused”
Your AI allowance ran out (or you paused it). Press Resume after it renews, or add credits — the plan continues where it stopped.
Stopped with an error
One step failed three times (usually a busy AI service). Its cost is refunded. Press Resume to try again.
Fewer items than expected
Duplicates, near-duplicates and items with years or places (in evergreen plans) are removed automatically, so the final count is usually a little lower than the estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to keep the page open?
No. The plan is generated in the background and saved to your account. Come back any time from “Your plans”.
How long does a plan take?
Usually a few minutes for 25 keywords and longer for big plans — titles take the most steps (one per core keyword).
Can I change the core keywords?
Yes. Tick “Let me review the core keywords” and the plan stops after the first step so you can edit, remove or add keywords before the rest is built.
Can I run one part again?
Yes. When the plan has stopped, use “Run a step again” above the results to rebuild long-tail, questions, angles or titles.
Are the keywords real searches?
Core keywords and AI items are based on how people search, and “Google” items are real autocomplete searches. For exact search volume, check the keywords in a volume tool.
